[Gelda was just making her way through the village when she spots Presea and her newfound pet. It's a little surprising to see one of those here, considering all the other types of monsters that've been appearing over the past few days. What's even more surprising is that Presea seems to be having a conversation with it.]

Ah, Presea. It's been a while.

[Presea hears Gelda, but doesn't turn until she's spoken to and the cheagle mewls loudly, trying to hide itself from this new, scary person by hiding in Presea's hair. Presea seems completely unbothered, despite her hair looking a mess now.]

[Gelda's always had a fondness for Cheagles, even after the things she's seen while she was part of the Order of Lorelei. Those furry little critters are so adorable, she can't help but want to cuddle them. This one's a little too shy for cuddling, though.]

I see you've found a Cheagle. Remarkable creatures, they are.

[Well, this one's still more or less wild. It just has a fondness for the person who freed it. Cheagles always repay their debts, you know. Right now, though, the little thing was being a bit of a handful, so Presea plucked it off her head to look at.]

[The cheagle looked back at Presea's voice face and smiled, waving its arms and crying happily.]

[Oh, that is just the cutest thing.]

That's right. Cheagles are considered holy by the Order of Lorelei, ever since the great Yulia Jue formed a pact with them. They're usually rather secluded creatures.

[Presea nods, absorbing all that information as the cheagle in question nuzzles against her.]

I found it...in the forest.

I suppose it must've appeared here along with all those other creatures. Will you look after it?

[Presea nodded slowly. If she had to, she'd at least take care of the thing until the larger monsters were gone. But she didn't know how to care for it, and since Gelda seemed to know a lot about the little thing--]

[Aww, is Presea asking for help? Gelda will assume so, and she's happy about it. She really does want to get to know Presea better.]

I'll be glad to give you a few tips. I've cared for Cheagles before. [Errr. Sort of. In the way Dist cared for them in that cave of his.]

[Presea shakes her head a little as the cheagle plays with her hair the pieces of her hair that weren't held up in pigtails.]

Now, let's see. Cheagles usually eat fruits and small berries. They reside in the woods and provide their own food, though with all the danger in the village, it'd be best not to let it wander off for now. [She pauses to inspect the Cheagle a bit more closely.] This one may be female, but it's a bit hard to tell.

[Presea listens intently. She had collected berries while in the forest, so that wouldn't be a problem, but she'd have to divide those for yet another being as well.]

[The cheagle squeaks when Gelda comes a little too close for comfort, puffing up its cheeks and hiccuping out a puff of smoke from its mouth, to which Presea stares at. Seems this one couldn't breathe fire just yet.]
