[Being returned to the village after a tough and seemingly never ending battle seemed like such a blessing to many. Some were happy, asking how things were in the village, some were mourning the loss, and others were giving explanations of what had occurred during the battle

[Oh, yes. They are neighbors, after all, and Sheena's been on the lookout since yesterday. And here she comes. ...Looking about the way Sheena expected]

Hey, Presea.

[Presea looks up when her name is called, almost startled to hear it. She hadn't noticed Sheena there, so tired and focused on just getting inside. She turns a bit quickly, but relaxes and sags a little.]

You look really tired. Want any help?

[Presea doesn't understand what it means to be tired, since she hasn't slept or needed to sleep in a decade, but she does know her body needed to recuperate.]

...Unnecessary. All daily activities will be completed after daddy is tended to and mana is restored.

[corrinesbell]

You're gonna walk all the way to the clinic too?

[...yeah, she intuited the 'daddy' part and is shelving the weird for now]

[It takes Presea a moment to think, consider the answer, before her stubbornness wins out over her logic. She made it this far, after all. If she just took breaks like she did before, and without the added luggage of her axe, she should be able to make decent time, though the visit would probably result in Presea being bedridden at the clinic as well.]

[Doesn't think she'll make it.]

He's okay, y'know. I visited a couple times. You could probably rest here for a couple hours first. ...I mean, I don't think he'd like seeing you like this?

[no idea if that works on half-lifeless!Presea]

[Nope, not working. Presea ignores Sheena's words and steels herself for the journey to the clinic. She's already on her way, but it seems the axe she was carrying also served as a good crutch, and Presea makes it about three yards before she stumbles and falls over.]

Whoa! [was following, but she's running over a lot faster now, and if Presea's actually still conscious she'll try to help her up]

[Presea was still awake, and uninjured save for a scrape or two, but she didn't flinch. She twitched when Sheena touched her suddenly, but couldn't find any strength to bat her away or anything else. So she just gives her a rueful look, even if she was just helping.]

[she'll at least sit her up then]

I think you're really going to the clinic now.

[Presea will take that much, and simply stay there for a few minutes, resting her tired body for a little bit. She had every intent to visit the clinic if her housemate was there. Getting treated as well wasn't even registering in her mind at all, though.]

...Correct.

[Trying to judge if Presea's really light enough for Sheena to carry her all that way. It might have to be a piggyback. But right now she'll try picking her up princess-style and see how that goes. Hopefully Presea doesn't try to kill her.]

[Well, without her axe to weigh her down, and being as petite as she is, Presea is relatively light. She shouldn't give Sheena too much trouble princess-style for a while. Though she does stare at her. Though it's as emotionless as ever, it's obvious just from the situation that she is NOT HAPPY.

Unfortunately, there's nothing she can do, she can't find the energy to move, so Presea relents. Whatever, it's getting her to her desired destination at least.]

Well you weren't gonna get there by yourself.

[She may just have to flip you, Sheena. But Presea takes the young lady's words silent, albeit with a grain of salt. She was right in every sense of the word; Presea wouldn't have made it even half way to the clinic before collapsing due to mana depletion and pure exhaustion.

Resigned to the situation, Presea just leans her head against Sheena's shoulder and closes her eyes. She's not asleep yet, since sleep is such a foreign thing to her now, but she most likely will be in a little bit.]
