the long drive home
i went to the ring two alone today.
gas was two dollars and twenty cents per gallon, sure am glad i waited for the fifteen cent drop from yesterday's gut wrenching two dollars and thirty-five cents per gallon.
on the long drive home i watched the sky and wished i wasn't here.
the sky was gray today,
& the sky was gray yesterday,
it's always colorless here.
the college kids on the sit or spin make me sick.
enrollment in post highscool education does not mean you're educated;
you're not better than anyone, so shut the fuck up.
