helped chris put the glass in the studio today, and i'm hella jazzed about it.
rehearsal the other day was grand, i really wouldn't have been too embarrassed if our first show sounded like that.
i'm expecting show number one to be awkward, simply because its show number one.
we're pretty ready, anything from here on in is just fine tuning.
we'll probably play with faces of valor for the first show but they're busy boys in june, so we may have to hold the debut to may =/ i still love them though, and i'm glad they're getting the opportunities they are. nice guys.
something funny: i'm kind of friends with verve pipe drummer donny brown, he's been good to me with advice on songwriting and band chemistry and the like... anyway i guess he's been in the studio a bit with the van ermans... weird. i heard a track they made called 'dog bite' and i kind of giggled.
i'm hoping roy kirby has me on his friends list, and that he still wants to play shows with us.
and that he's reading this and will let me know if theres a show that we could open for sometime soon ;)
if there is, hopefully he'll leave a note... =)
i'm falling farther and farther in love with my guitar setup.

its fucking heavenly and i'm glad about every dime i spent on those bitches.
my guitar skills are coming along, the more i stumble along practicing
and i'm starting to fill out the slack between my equipment and ability.
it feels great.
