yeah, I should be weaving instead of posting about it... but my shoulders need a break.
didn't have enough of one color of gold/yellow yard to do this project and Michaels didn't have anything suitable in wool... a metric crap tonne of stuff in acrylic though *hurks*
so I picked up a ball of white...
skeined it...
mordant and fustic dye bath... I love the way the dye is rinsing out only on the outside of the skein!! Was in the dye for about 48 hours and I'm about 2/3rds of the way done rinising it here...
final colors... the little strand is what I usually use for gold...
and the loom is warped and weaving started!!
and now it's bedtime!!!
