Room 510, Saturday Morning
Jennifer woke up to the sound of scurrying in her room.
When she reached over to switch on the light, one of the creatures promptly leapt on her arm.
"Gyah!" she said, flailing her arm enough to knock it over... right into the glass of water she'd left next to her bed.
The squelching and popping noise made her reach again for the light. She grimaced both when she saw the ugly thing, and almost puked when she saw a couple more of them... birth off of its back.
"Okay, note to self. Don't get them wet," she said. She scrambled out of bed, and grabbed a chair, which she proceeded to use to fend the little things off, sending them scurrying to the air vents.
"...ew," she said, before quickly going to get dressed. She had a feeling there wasn't just one of those things.
