Dinner
If I could have dinner with anyone, I would have dinner with Jack again.
We would go a lot when I was alive. Really just to break the monotony of work. But we would talk, about work mostly. We always talked about work, workaholic lawyers that we were.
But I’d give anything to do that again, even if it just turned into a big argument like they had the weeks before I died. Because I’d rather argue with Jack than anyone else. Even when he was wrong he had more worthwhile things to say than most everyone else.
I’d have dinner with anyone if I could just actually be alive again. I think I’m somewhere in limbo right this moment, and I’d like very much to get out, to eat something substantial with anyone.
