So Dawn's set for school and I can't get her out of my brain. She left to go to Wolfram and Hart to find her sister and ever since, I've been thinking about her no matter what else I try to do. My classes have been one big blur since we parted a few hours ago. I'm going to have to borrow notes from people. I tried to take notes and pay attention,

Okay, so he was Angel's son, big deal there. But apparently, Giles didn't quite trust Angel, thus, not trusting anything else that was remotely connected to him. And okay, so the guy was a vampire, and this firm was... a little weird, but Buffy trusted him, so I trusted him too. I mean, what else was I gonna do? Besides, Connor was nice. And he was not like, some evil creature or a creature at all. He was just a normal... okay almost normal college guy. Not to mention cute, and smart. But did Giles see that? No!!! All he saw was the name 'Angel' attached to his name and just did the whole third degree.
Glad that was all over though. And now... now? Now I was lost again it would seem. Why couldn't I just use a cell phone like a normal person and give Buffy a call?! Oh yeah, because I just had to give it back to him, didn't I?
I frowned and walked into the lobby for the third time. I couldn't even remember where Angel's office was. I looked around trying to see if I could find a familiar face. Where was his secretary? Was anyone even working? Ugh this was so frustrating! And just when I thought I was going to get lost again...
"Ummpt! Ow!" I totally fell on my butt! It almost felt like I had run into a wall. Yep, that's what I get for not looking at where I'm going. I frowned and looked up, and to my surprise I saw a familiar face... the one face I was actually glad to see.
"Connor! Jeez, sorry, I'm suck klutz sometimes."

"So, uh, I was hoping you weren't busy. But, if you are, that's okay. I just...I missed you and wanted to see you again." Yeah, could I sound more dorkish? I really hope not. The last thing I wanted to do was look like a drooling idiot in front of Dawn.
"Anyway, if you like, we could...get some coffee? Or something? If you're not busy, that is."

I stood up and regained my composure. I didn't mean to sound so excited to see him, I mean, what if he thought I was a total idiot? By the look in his face, he really didn't think that, or at least, it didn't look like he did.
"Hi," I said and cleared my throat again.
"Huh? Coffee? Umm sure! That sounds great," I replied smiling. Buffy could wait, I guess. I really liked Connor, and enjoyed his company. I didn't care what Giles had said before. Connor was just a normal kid, sure... son of two vampires, and I was once a globby energy thingy. We all had our issues, but that didn't mean we were bad people.
I smiled at him again, and couldn't help but feel the butterflies in my stomach and the wooziness that came along with those butterflies.

"Okay, good. So...uh, let's go then, I know a place near here." I wondered if I should attempt to hold her hand or if she would slap me for attempting to hold her hand. Instead, I decided to talk more as I walked down the hall with her at my side.
"It's good to see you again. I was hoping you weren't busy since I'm not. Well, at the moment. Anyway, I like spending time with you."
You might as well just tell her that you like her, you big dork. I was a bit embarrassed at what I just told her. I felt a bit tongue tied for a moment, which doesn't happen with just any girl. Dawn's special.
