I've said it before, and I'll say it again: I think I've done more healing since I came to this place than in my whole life put together! When do I get to blow stuff up? Oh, well, at least it gave me something to do. I've got to think of a way to liven things up around here... Hmm...
So, hey, old-timer! Your arm still feeling okay?

Um, I think... nineteen? Twenty? Probably closer to twenty, because they pulled you from a year ahead of me. Why?

Seriously, it wasn't a bad look for you. And you were definitely pretty tough to fight that way. And Amelia always seemed to like it, though I guess that doesn't mean anything to you anymore...

Not really, no. Who's Amelia?

Amelia. Princess Amelia. Friend, traveling companion. You and she... got along. Like, really well.

Princess... What? Of Seyruun? We were travelling with the princess of Seyruun?

Yes, exactly.

How'd we end up... Hang on, you said we liked each other? I don't go all knight-in-shining-armor-y in the future, do I?

Zel, you'd make a lousy knight in shining armor. But I guess after people risk their lives for each other a few times, they kind of get attached to each other. Which I guess would explain why I put up with Gourry...

And on top of that, I'm apparently in love with a freaking princess.

Amelia's okay. I mean, sure, she's kind of obsessed with justice, and her dad's a complete nutcase, but she's still a good person to have on your side.

Think I'd heard something about her dad being weird. Runs in the family, I guess.

It must. I heard something about an older sister that disappeared... Hope I never run into her.
