He wraps unrepentantly around Trism, breathing in his companion with a small, satisfied smile. No. No mother and no father... but he has this, at the very least. He has Trism and Trism has him, whatever that might be worth.

It's worth quite a lot, really. Worth the annihilation of your job and life. Trism holds Liir close and presses kisses into soft dark hair.

"Feeling better?"

"A little," he replies truthfully, "though now that you mention it, absolutely horrible."

His nose dips into the crook of Trism's neck and burrows a little. Such a lovely distraction and he prefers soft sun-kissed skin that always seems to smell of hay to the rest of the world that was just as complicated and not nearly so pleasant.

"Sounds about normal for you."

He strokes over his lover's currently green skin and nuzzles behind his ear.

"You really sold your broom, love?"

He nods and holds close to Trism.

"It bound me to her... and seperated me from the rest of the world. If I'm to defy anything, gravity included... I'll do it on my own."

"You could always make a new broom."

Trism's not letting Liir go anytime soon.

There's silence for a moment.

No movement and silence.

"Yes. Perhaps I could."

"I think that you could."

And then he's too busy kissing Liir to ask more questions.
