It's an oddly gentle action, one that may surprise Sugar. It is actually somewhat-surprising him.

Sugar closed her eyes, chest heaving, a small whimpering leaving her mouth. Lovely. Just lovely. She could get used to this.

It is then that he feels the light scar-tissue, slightly puffy. He breaks the kiss for a moment, breathing a little heavily.
"Where'd you get this?" he asks.

He has to quell the doctor part of him, if only to stop analyzing and studying it, but it doesn't take away from her attractiveness nevertheless.
"I suppose not," he agrees.

She kissed his cheek softly, brushing her thumb over where she kissed. Being so intimate with someone, so tender, was amazing.

"Fifteen, too..." Though he would never admit it, Chase has always had a particular fondness for the children and young patients he's had to take care of. No fifteen year old should have had to endure anything like that.
"And this is the same mother who got you into the business in the first place, huh?"
