So? That last one? Taught me something. Mainly that I can camp out in a subway quite nicely, if I ever so feel the urge again. And that I can dodge the trains they got down there. Because if you're gonna camp out on the subway, you gotta be able to dodge trains. I became quite good at it, as the night wore on. Y'know, if I do say so myself. And I ( Read more... )

Really, now? When?

I went drinking with Rangiku, before. It serves a very wide variety of drinks, and if one is in the mood for dancing of an incredibly promiscious variety, that is the place to go.

That's not really my... cup of tea, but the place seems interesting, I hear about it enough.

Did you have fun?

I have fun with those I am close to, regardless, usually, of our location.

In fact, I drank Rangiku under the table.

Woah, I need to hear this story. When I talked to her, she said she was the drinker!

Mm, she is quite good. I do believe she is regarded as the best, with Kyouraku-taichou her equal. However, I have an unfair advantage. Mayuri-sama made my body so that I metabolize extremely quickly. The alcohol does not affect me nearly as much as it does humans and true shinigami.

That's ironic. The Parasite does the same thing to me. Takes about... five bahamalama-dingdongs to knock me out, and then it's only for so long.

[ooc From an actual chapter in the book, where he does exactly this;;]

I'm afraid I am uninformed about this type of beverage.

Perhaps we should compare sometime?

Bahamalama-dingdongs are these absolutely discusting drinks, made with rum, some tipe of fruit juice, and a banana. The bartender rings a bell whenever someone orders one, thus the 'dingdong'. They then place an umbrella in it, and serve! From a gay bar I've gone to a few times in lower Manhattan.

I'd love to go drinking with you, sometimes, but I fear the conversation'd be dominated by Wolbachia and Toxoplasma.

A gay bar? What is the purpose of such an establishment?

A gay bar, a bar for mostly male gay men.

...I hang out there because I doubt I'll meet any women that way.

Oh. I did not know you were homosexual. Forgive my misconception.

Ah! I'm not gay, Nemu. I go there because I prolly won't meet anyone I'm... interested in. No one to infect.

Oh.

It seems I made another mistake with words.

Forgive me.
