Not much problems in terms of lag and gameplay. So far. I'm not really sure why some folks are having authentication issues. I can understand the frustrations and anger considering that I was also looking forward to the game. Character creation (yay ample posteriors) and questing is pretty straightforward - you'd be pretty blind if you didn't notice the huge arrows showing you where to go. Well, not huge but it's definitely noticeable on the mini-map.
Thus far, there's the single player and the multi-player option. I believe that the multi is available at any time if you want to go ahead and quest with friends but I'm trying out the single player - who knows, there might be delicious things in store for me. Speaking of delicious things - I was doing the night quest (single player) for my nubbie Demonologist when I noticed that the guards were level 20. First time I came across them, I was thinking - oh em gee, I best gtfo of their way since I don't want to get smacked around. The next bit of the quest (after saving some old dude in White watchamacallit) was when it got interesting. So I had to head over to some chick to beg her for apprenticeship. Of course along the way I'd have to pwn her guards, which, by the way, were completely disposable. Only NOT. Since the disposable guards were all level 20 and I'm a meagre 7. See the pattern?
But - no worries. When in doubt, relog. And the bad boys deleved to 5. Off to spank 'em.
