I know we always complain about how freshman suck and they're so stupid and they don't deserve anyone's respect and that they're just plain crappy? Well...today, that was proved true. Thanks to some stupid freshman boy probably playing a prank last night/trying to be funny, we had to sit outside for 2 hours in the hott sun while the Alexandria K-9 unit, the state police, and news crews came to Yorktown because there was a "Columbine-like" threat. STUPID STUPID FRESHMAN!!!!!!!!! These things are NOT taken lightly, especially post Columbine/9-11. I was convinced it was a huge drug bust at first cuz they were having the police dogs search all of the cars. Someone said they saw someone getting busted...but thats just the rumor mill talking I suppose. Once we figured out it was a bomb threat (Alexandria K-9 specializes in explosive searches) we kept wondering.."Why are they having us stand so close to the school?!" Basically, it was just a really frustrating morning. Bec and I tried to escape but Winch caught us, so we broke away again, and then ran into Krufeld and a lot more police so there really was no way out. So all in all, thank you you stupid freshman for ruining everyone's day!
On a more positive note...I was on TV! It was just a shot of Me and Becca and some other girls standing around waiting to figure out what we were gonna do. But still. I can say that I was on tv. So I rock. even though it was because of a bomb threat...
ANNNNNND THERE'S ALMOST NO SCHOOL LEFT Pretty much just next week. I'm excited.
