Went checking the fences for a bit last night and found the voltage was a bit low. Listened and could hear a cracking coming from the bottom of the hill. Went to investigate, and found the fence discharging on a fir tree (not sure what type). Whacked some insulation in and the crckign got louder.
Noted that the bottom wire to my right was on the ground. Thought I'd fix it and found that it was glued to the ground....

A bit of the base of it's nose.
I'm sure it was sickly before it got zapped......

Wasn't so bad with the rats and rabbits......
