(no subject)
Guess what popped through my letterbox today - THIS:

Yes, I know £50 is a huge amount of money to spend on this - but it is going to charity so I don't feel too guilty. Also, I've decided not to buy that new winter coat I've been eyeing up, which cost a lot more than £50 - so you see, I've actually saved some money!! Aren't I good? :D Anyway, this means far more to me than some coat I know I'll be sick of next year!!
The first thing I did when I opened it was place my own hand against it to compare - Elijah's hand is almost exactly the same size as mine!! His thumb and little finger may be fractionally longer. The nice pic of him holding up his inky little paw comes with it too. I'm so glad I decided to get this - I did it really quickly, as soon as I read about it on TORN - I knew that if I spent too long thinking about I probably wouln't!!
Can't believe it's 1st Dec tomorrow. *PANICS* Why do I do this? Every single year without fail - I leave everything too late and then really, seriously panic. It always seems that one moment Christmas is ages away, then suddenly it's upon us.
In between my frenzied shopping I'm working on Chapter 12 of 'Journey' which I hope to post within the next few days:)
