i still can't imagine waking that early every day just to stand up. one photo you posted here always looked to me as if elijah was actually standing up sleeping. he was known to pass out at the drop of a hat, but he more than likely was reading something.

sean was being so nice to elijah and his choice of music. i know i wonder why he likes some of the music he listens to.

I remember Sean once saying "I swear Elijah used to sleep while he was standing up"!! Can't remember where I heard/read that - but I should have included it!!

I feel the same about Elijah's taste in music - it's a mystery to me. But just occasionally he'll mention something that I do love, and for some odd reason that makes me very happy. But it is a rare thing.

Each of the 4 hero hobbits had their feet - and their ears - designed specifically for them to suit their character" Hamlin explains. And these varied quite a bit - it was easy to recognize whose feet and ears were whose at a glance.

I didn't know that!! I never really noticed (or bothered to look for) any differences. I'll have to re-watch the films and pay more attention to their feet.

And the result of all these ministrations...

...is probably the most beautiful photograph of Frodo-Elijah ever taken.
