((Events in this post occur about half an hour after
Other!Axel's impromptu visit.))
Leaning lazily against the door jamb, Axel watched her with a blank expression, her quick movements and her newly acquired four inches, her frame starting to finally develop into one of power. She was aging faster these days (an event, Axel noticed, that only happened after she had been tinkering with that shadow clock of hers) and soon, Axel would have to start her additional training toward becoming the perfect light-wielding tool.
She was moving around the room that she had claimed as her own, alternating between meticulous packing and being a bit clumsy walking around, risking stumbling or bumping into things as if she was a little distracted. It wasn't like her to be clumsy, so Axel could only conclude that she wasn't quite comfortable in her new body yet. Nothing a few hours with a weapon wouldn't solve.
He wasn't sure what she'd 'accidentally' overheard in his conversation with alt Axel as she PINpointed in half an hour ago, but it was too late to dwell on it now. If there was damage control to be had, Axel was sure he could handle it. He was good at thinking on his feet and just because this plan had been in motion for this long didn't mean he couldn't change it for the better.
Either way, Axel was still there, arms loosely crossed with every intention of making sure Basi came back. His plan required that she came back.
