Kid gone for lessons, Dusks vanished to where ever they usually go when not summoned, and apartment all to himself.

Axel leans back into his oh-so-comfy couch and gives a relieved sigh. No Roxas in sight to raise an eyebrow and call him pointlessly sentimental, or cute little girl to implore him into doing non-assassinate-y things. Like... ( Read more... )

Unfortunately, things were not destined to go quite that way. Or not today at least, as the (relative) calm was interrupted by a ripple of darkness that soon resolved itself into one of those far too familiar portals as a rather unexpected (red-headed) visitor stepped out.

With an luck, he'd be too distracted by the appearance of his alt to notice the wards casually sliding down over the building as the portal vanished. No point in coming in unprepared, after all - and Axel rather doubted he'd be received particularly well.

OH SHI-- oh look, it's his alt. Please excuse Axel while he heads for the nearest emergency exit.

... That seems to be blocked.

Axel pokes experimentally at the wards, noting that he could break through (it was similar to his own powers, after all), given a little time. However, that does take time and he's now trapped in his own apartment with his alt.

Axel resigns himself to being laughed at and raises an eyebrow at Axel. "Ran out of vacation spots? I might have to charge you, yanno."

Welcome Axel, to the vacation from hell. Quite possibly literally.

"You know, if I didn't know better I'd say you didn't seem all that pleased to see me." A slow, devious smirk spread across his face as he continued. "Something go not quite according to plan?"

Cue the raised eyebrows and deep inside, somewhat of a pleased smirk. "What makes you think she's my little protege?"

"Was it a wiggling little bird?" Because those Dusks were little blabbermouths that needed to be straightened out. Perhaps permanently.

"Aside from being too tired to function after being with me?" Axel is telling the truth. It just depends on how his alt takes it.

The second comment, however, gets a raised eyebrow. "How 'too tired' are we talking here?" Because if Roxas went and left the Organization, there might have to be some ... straightening out, as it were.

Axel narrows his eyes, more in wry frustration than disappointment or anger. "Not too tired. You know how our battles are." Luckily for this Axel, Roxas hasn't left. Yet.

"Good thing we don't~ have hearts then," Axel points out, poking again at the barrier. "You'd more likely sell the kid than anything." Or keep her for himself, if he knew how much power the little girl had. Axels were devious like that.

"Since when do we tell anyone everything?" Alt!Axel should know that. Even Roxas wasn't privy to everything. "Of course I'm interested in her," Axel somewhat snaps. "That girl is a miniaturized version of Basi."
