hereThe best combinations in life were always polar opposites. So why not ice cream and darkness? That was what Axel thought when he coaxed Terebas through the corridor of darkness, thinking that a trip home for some ice cream was in order. He still didn't understand her powers and what better way to learn about them than to

"What kind is left?" Axel replies, smirk still in place. "I hear sea-salt is popular." Axel points towards the fridge, a small, sad little thing that was illegally acquired solely for ice cream storage. It wasn't like Axel cooked or ate there.

Yes, that is salt. But. It's also ice-cream! So it's sweet. :o
This is a New Thing.
She takes another taste as she closes the fridge and then turns. She will try the ice-cream while checking out this new place she is in, yep yep.

Axel settles deeper into the cushions. He's still watching Terebas.
A hallway at his right will lead to three bedrooms, one where Axel rests when he needs it, one as an emergency back up room, in case Roxas doesn't want to sleep with Axel a guest room, and one door that is locked tight, no matter what tricks Terebas uses to try to open it. Strangely enough, the place looks like a normal, bachelor pad, a mix-mash of colors with no monochrome coloring or identifying statues of any kind.
To Axel's left is the opening to the modest sized kitchen, where she's at, and the patio door next to that leads to the concrete and metal spire balcony. If she looks down from there, it'll be a four story drop.
A very conspicuous flag of rainbow design can be seen hanging from the roof.

It's all colourful~. It is not like the ship or the house, so it seems very Nexusy to her.
And, ooo. Balcony. She has to check that out!

Axel continues much scrutiny as Terebas walks out onto the balcony. "Don't fall over. It's not like I have Peter Pan tights that can fly." This was highly debatable (the flying part, in case anyone had any funny ideas) though Axel hasn't tried it outside his own world yet.

She is picking up on this scrutiny, but only dimly, and she's scrutinizing his apartment (not him, yet) so it's only fair. She's not doing anything unusual, except her shadow is still merrily poking around on its own near her feet; it reaches out toward where the portal was when she passes by, and she pauses herself to look at ... well, whatever she can see.
'I won't fall~.' She doesn't think it was tights that made him fly. Wasn't it ... hm, her memory be fuzzy. Pixie dust?
She goes outside to look around, sucking contentedly on her ice cream. Is good~!

"If you say so. Just so you know, splat is not quite the sound you make when you hit the asphalt," he calls out to the balcony area. A little morbid there, Axel?
It should be good! Axel's stocking it for a reason.

She *is* careful ... but she also leans over the railing, being almost more careful of her ice cream than her personal safety. They're high up~!
Her shadow, since it falls over the edge, visibly sinks out of sight over the balcony and curves back up, slinking along the underside. Just curious, really.

The shadows are just doing all kinds of things, aren't they? Axel wonders idly if he could control them, those shadows that are attached to Terebas. He tilts his head, then pushes, pausing a moment to see what her shadows would do.

Terebas spins. 'What'd you do that for?!"

On the other hand, that was a very interesting reaction from Terebas. Axel slings both arms across the back of the couch, grinning winningly at Terebas all the while.
"Talk about touchy." Axel's remembering their earlier conversation and drawing the conclusion that those shadows... just might be a part of her.
Interesting.
