[Puts the laptop to the side and gives an encouraging smile. She's not really an invalid, despite how fragile everyone is treating her.]

Pretty well, actually, all things considered.

That's good. The curses don't usually leave terribly lasting damage, as nasty as that one was.

It happened too fast. I was lucky to survive that gunshot the first time it happened, let alone combined with all the rest.
