Yeah, I do own a garage. Sorta. More like I inherited it. I don't really know much about body work but one of the guys that uses the garage really knows a lot. I mean, I'm sure I could learn and practice on like... stuff, but I saw you talking about the Mustang and I'd want to make sure someone really good worked on it.

Well, I'm not going to ask you to teach yourself a whole new trade just to fix up my car. And it would be nice to have it done before the winter... If you think this other person would like to do it for me that would be fine too. Or you could both work on it, I don't really mind either way so long as it happens.

It's not a huge deal, really. I only became a mechanic since I came to the City. Gotta have something to do to keep me busy. I'll ask Jack about the bodywork.

That's understandable. Thanks a lot, Sam, I appreciate it. You can ask him to let me know if he's interested? And you'll get some sort of commission for using your garage and making the connection, of course.

Hey, anything for you George. Well, not anything but you know what I mean. I hope. Sometimes I don't even know what I mean though.

Ummm, if you don't mind me asking... all that stuff about cancer... do you have cancer?

Yes, I know what you mean. It's a part of being human, and male, and young that you don't always know what you mean. Who am I kidding, I'm no philosopher, I don't always know what I mean either.

No, I don't, but it's in the family and you never know. Better to get tested just in case, right?

I thought it was pretty typical that women didn't know what they meant? Or was it that they didn't know what they wanted?

Yeah, it is. They can cure that here though, right?

I think the saying goes that women don't know what they want, but that sounds like chauvinistic bullshit to me.

I know that there's some supernatural-healing type people here, but I don't know how much they can do. Best is just to hope it never comes up.

When you have a girlfriend, then you can tell me that. Not that you'd ever have a girlfriend. Not that there would be anything wrong if you did. It would be kind of hot. I mean, in the way that...

So, yeah. Best to hope you never get cancer.

You don't have to be a lesbian to be a feminist, Sam. You know, it's hard to tell whether you're cursed or not.

That's not what I meant, I just meant that... I should probably just stop talking. And trust me, it would be far more embarassing if I was cursed.
