And Holly usually knows what she's talking about, considering she tends to dive into things headfirst without any encouragement.

Who, for whatever reason, either have not brought up the issue to the police since his departure, or they have and it never made it to me.

I trust her judgement on the matter. It was a recovery mission, apparently they led a small strike force in, but set up a massive diversion resulting in quite a few injuries.

It might be good to bring the question to them. If Mello's assumptions are the same as theirs, they may believe that we would be on his side so to speak.

Joining the police force would be an easy way to cause more problems when crisis situations arise, but he may be aiming to go for the Warden position again.

I'm sure if he's as good as some people think he is he'll know what he's doing, but even having a large amount of highly secure posts would be suspicious.

Do you know the other residents of that world? My notes are extensive but not that extensive. That may be so; but in any case it would have been nice to at least have the warning in a bit earlier.
