Life is so good
I feel so happy right now. Life is just so good.
Comphony closed last night and the audience LOVED it. We made $500 for MTR and I am beyond excited! People were telling us we should bring back the show next week/Do it every year! I felt so so so proud. Though, it's consumed my schedule and brain so much that it's nice to have a break now. Maybe I can start returning phone calls! :)
Invasion and the Dance Show are next on my platter. I just finished my Hero dance and it turned out really well! I had people coming up to me and telling me it was their favorite number! I have rehearsal with my dancers to clean, which should be fun!
My other dances are really tiring because of my knee. It's healing, yes, but not without pain. I've been pushing my limits a little bit so I can get the steps in my body. My leg also started swelling up :( I have cankles right now which is very very unfortunate. My doctor thought it was a blood clot so I had to go through a bunch of freaky tests on my leg. Including one which they do on pregnant mothers to listen to the baby inside. I sound weird inside.
For Invasion, I'm producing and set designing which means a lot of alone work (Thank god). Sometimes it's nice to just do projects on your own.
Then, Lili and I are starting to plan Assassins. basically it's going to be phenomenal. I'm not saying that it might start out with all the characters as Lee Harvey Oswald and then have them all slowly transform into their respective assassins, but maybe...
We also have to figure out our Spring "In-concert". We did an audience poll, which is helpful yet not. Hahaha...
I have gotten so many requests by people to be on the board of MTR. I can't believe how big we've grown just after two shows. Seriously, it's so nice to be prized and wanted. When we go to replace Caitie at the end of next year and do interviews, it's going to be quite a battle. May the most qualified person win.
Ee! I'm so excited! This post has absolutely no substance, but I just feel so happy with everything! My family is good, my friends are good, the food I eat is good, my shows are good...and my birthday is in two weeks!!!!!!! YAY!
