Congrats on the DSLR! Mine was a birthday present from my husband for one of those BIG birthdays, you know, the ones that end in zero. I love it. I use it so much more than my very nice film SLR, in part because it is so easy and cheap to jettison the mistakes, and then there is the whole instant gratification factor of being able to check immediately if you got the shot. Now I'm saving up for a 70-300mm lens with macro abilities.
Thanks. I'm so excited. :) How nice of your hubby! :D hehe. For my first lens (other than the 18-55mm that comes w/it) I really want a fisheye. Then a telephoto zoom lens. :) They're super expensive though! lol.
