Got home from my evening class today at almost 7:30pm, and discovered that UPS had dropped off my new longboard skateboard that I pre-ordered back in the middle of March! FINALLY! I kept getting emails about back-orders, first for wheels, then I got an email saying the board build was in progress, then I got ANOTHER email a couple weeks later that the deck was back-ordered, and TODAY when my board arrived I got an email saying the hardware was back-ordered. x_0; *scratches head* And the wheels I got weren't the ones I ordered, but their orange like I wanted, and the right durometer, so I don't care! XD But whatever, I got my board. YAY!
I only got to ride it a little bit 'cuz it was getting dark, but MAN, the spring-loaded Original trucks are absolutely SICK! It carves like a surfboard, with a turning radius you wouldn't believe, and it's super light too! *huggles new skateboard* hehe.
And for more fun stuff... My mom got a basketball hoop from her friend at work whose kids didn't want it anymore. They brought it over last night. I shot some hoops today after skateboarding until it was too dark to see. It was fun. Felt like old times. heh. :)

And on a totally unrelated note, I discovered to an almost absolute certainty that Murray is actually a girl. XP *shrugs* The name's stickin' though.
