So, I finally got to watch Stargate: Continuum. My dvd came in yesterday and I watched it last night. :) Here's my view on the movie:
Overall, it was a good movie, and I liked the story, way better than "Ark of Truth".
I know Jack wasn't supposed to be a 'main' character in the story, but I guess I was just expecting him to have a bigger role. :(
I was also hoping for a little more JackSam interaction, hints, whatever. Even though Sam was the most broken up over Jack's sudden death, and the scene with Sam at the grocery store and her picking up the 'Fruities'(?) cereal box. Fruit Loops anyone? Also, she seemed most upset when 'Colonel' O'Neill didn't believe their story and kinda just wrote them off, not wanting anything to do with them.
Something else that bothered me was that I kind of thought Jack's death should have been a bit more dramatic. At the end when everything was back to normal, I was hoping that atleast Sam, Daniel, and Cam would know what happened... *shrugs* But I guess since they fixed the timeline and everything happened all over again, it wouldn't have happened and they shouldn't know anyway. Ack, timeline stuff is confusing!! >_<
The ending wasn't what I expected and left me kinda confused too. What happened with the Cam that was left back in time??? *blinks and scratches head*
Guess that's it. But I did like the movie.... I think. x_0; lol.
