I hate writing papers, okay? I cannot sound smart at all, I hate using academic language and big words just because I can. I like to use simple terms that anyone can understand when they read. I'm not a fan of quoting quoting quoting, a paper has to have some of your own stuff right? and I like paraphrasing all those big words academics like to use to make themselves sound smart.
I'm simple-minded and so help me god, I am sorry I don't live up to some standards. If you don't like what I wrote, go ahead and rewrite it, change it what the fuck ever. just don't say I didn't do anything. I did, but it's just not up to par with what everyone else does because I. hate. the fact that academia has to be so smarmy.
seriously? why do academic papers have to be so long-winded and bursting at the seams with big words and technical language that no one outside the realm of study can understand? fuck sometimes you can be in the realm of study and you still won't understand it! why can't academic papers, which are supposed to be there for knowledge, be simple and understandable. yes, I know there are some academic and technical terms that can't be substituted, but really, how many are there? you can explain the concept and still use simple understandable English no?
