Lemonade Mouth - DVD Extra Scene

Jul 02, 2011 12:19

For the sake of completeness here is the alternate ending only available on the Lemonade Mouth DVD. And You Tube.

We begin with an introduction to "The Music Scene", a ficticious VH1 show presented by a fictitious red-headed host named "Moxy Morris" who seems to have totally copied Stella's asymmetrical hairdo.

She introduces Lemonade Mouth who are seated in a row of chairs beside her. We see that they are mostly as we remember them except for Stella, who has discovered "Bumpits" while cruising the Jersey shore, and Scott, who is sporting a faux-hawk. The audience cheers.

Her first question is how they managed to pull off their meteoric rise from obscurity to stardom. They all look at each other because they don't even know themselves. Wen finally admits that they're on orders from the mouse not to divulge any spoilers for the sequel.

Her next question is for Charlie. She tells him that since he's the closest thing this movie has to a Zac Efron or a Jonas brother he needs to address the rumors that he's gay. Charlie says that after months of soul-searching and introspection he's come to the realization that he's bisexual, since he's still crushing on a certain girl who he hopes will dump her boyfriend soon. Good Luck, Charlie.

Speaking of, Moxy then asks Mo regarding her love life. Mo squirms uncomfortably. Before she can answer her father, who is in the audience, jumps up and demands an explanation. Suddenly this show's starting to get good. Not Maury Povich good, but maybe Geraldo good.

Anyway, before set chairs start flying Olivia speaks up and says that it's not Mo but her who is in a relationship. This makes Scott's jaw drop and Mo gives him the evil eye. Scott tells her it isn't him. Charlie wonders to himself, “Is it me?”

Olivia explains that she and Wen have been dating, "kinda". Wen is as surprised as the rest of the Lemons, but he plays along. Wen says that they are boyfriend and girlfriend and even holds hands with Olivia. The audience applauds.

Stella speaks up, as she is wont to do, and tells Moxy that while life has changed for the band a lot of things have not. The sold out shows with crowds of thousands of cheering fans hasn't changed them at all. Nor has the all night parties, the hookers, the drugs, the wild sex orgies, the groupies, the multi-million dollar cribs, Wen's collection of thirty or so fully restored classic cars, Olivia's Van Gogh which hangs in her bathroom, Charlie's 360° looping drum platform, Scott's Gulfstream G550, or even Mo's private castle in Scotland. Stella urges Moxy to let them do their song already because her personal helicopter will be there to pick them up in five minutes.

"Livin' on a High Wire" follows.
