Someone outside is making a TERRIBLE sound...oh, apparently there is a child having a tantrum. They are yelling in a weird way.
Anywho. It's early on a Sunday morning and we have the whole day stretched out in front of us and I am trying to decide what to do. Ideal plan : go get bagels for breakfast, pick up some coffee and the Sunday times, bring a blanket and go sit outside and read the paper in the park. We'll have to see how motivated we can be. Because I also want to knit, and read my new books from the library.
Being a working girl has kept me away from posting, ah well. I am liking my job. I enjoy the women I work with, and sometimes the kids are really adorable. Other times, it breaks my heart. I'm learning a lot, and what I am learning will definitely be useful in my future endeavors. That being said - I want a school counseling job so badly, I could cry. This job is good!...for now...but in time I will burn out, and need more money. I can only hope and pray that I will be able to get a school counseling job that is a good "fit". They're so difficult to find...
I'm having shelter dreams. Work has invaded my sleep time. This always happens to me.
I got to have a spur of the moment lunch date on Friday and it was lovely! Miss LJ was in town for her teeth, and it happens to be close to where I work! So we had a yuuuuuuummy lunch at this Italian restaurant. It was so good to see her - it was much needed.
Yesterday Greg and I went shopping - he needed some fall clothes for work, and I wanted to pick up spray bottles to mix my own cleaners in. I don't want to buy bleach or scary chemically smelling cleaning stuff anymore. The only thing I will bleach is the toilet. So I bought a huge bottle of vinegar. I have some castille soap, baking soda, and lavendar and tea tree oil. I found a website that gives combinations of these and other things to create eco-friendly cleaning solutions. I'm excited.
Greg and I also watched Death Proof last night by Quentin Tarentino - it was a part of Grindhouse. I was totally entertained, but he totally has a weirdly obsessive foot fetish. Zoe Bell is freakin' incredible - she's a stuntwoman, who was the stunt woman for Uma in Kill Bill..and holy cow - she plays herself in this movie and spends quite a large amount of time hanging on to the hood of a speeding car. Kids, do NOT try this at home. We really enjoyed it, particularly the dialogue.
Okay...enough of this. I must go read knitting blogs, and wake up Gregory. Mwahahahahaha.
