The publishers have moved the release date forward on my book. Apparently there are a few TV production companies sniffing around it as a possible project. They're interested in making some kind of documentary based on the latter part of it, so the editor's assistant has been ringing me every single bloody day to see how much more I can give them.
Christ almighty, I'm working 18 hour days as it is, hardly setting foot outside the house. Trying to complete the final chapters has been the hardest part. Every time Barley throws another sodding trashbat party, I have to keep re-writing it because the publishers want the book to be as up-to-the-minute as possible. They're also talking about giving away a trashbat.co.ck museum booklet with the first 100 copies of the book. Like fucking hell they are.
The proofs for the dust jacket design should be ready, some time this week. I've told them that if there's even a hint of an Idiot anywhere on the cover, I'll with-hold the rest of the book. They can threaten legal action all they like. They're not fucking this up for me. I'm not going to look like a frigging Idiot.
