Living vicariously through you, now! It's the deep of winter here right now. The closest thing to flying I've done lately would be the run-and-grab I had to make to rescue a falling vase I knocked over while stretching.

Because when you had as much wing as Warren had, stretching indoors did not come strictly recommended.

It's cold enough that I'm afraid to open the door, because it might freeze open. It's been storming. Even if I could see where I was going out there, I'd probably still fly into a tree.

Or execute a wonderful crash-landing into a wall or the ice on the river or, hell, he'd find a way to get poison ivy even through six feet of snow in late December.

If you're still out, I wouldn't mind more pictures, though. They're a nice change of pace, and we don't exactly have stellar wi-fi in Glacia on a GOOD day for me to google Hawaii or something.

You're tempting me, Momoko. But you're also right. If Kayla's wings come in, she's going to need to stretch and fly... probably more than I do, actually. I'm kind of used to packing it in for long periods at a time.

I'm mostly just trying to keep a tiny dinosaur from hiding all of my screws. I don't do carpentry often enough to have extra, here.

Ever. He didn't do carpentry pretty much ever. Not that he couldn't, of course. He'd volunteered plenty of his time doing just that up in Arceria, after all. But it wasn't exactly a normal hobby for him. And usually, he was too busy.

Out and about and being a pest. But I'm well on my way to making a little swingset for Kayla. If I can't fly and she doesn't have wings yet, I figure swinging is probably the next best thing.

I envy any place that has swimming pools that aren't full up with ice and snow right now, you know.

Nice! I mean, both the view and the breakfast. We've still got a while to wait before mealtime, here. Probably for the best. Gives me time to figure out where Nemit's been hiding these screws before Kayla figures it out first.

Because that would be... bad. It would be very bad.

I'll move the swingset out of this room and keep the door closed until I'm sure I got them all.

Ha! I didn't, no, but you have to admit it would be a useful skill to have while living in Glacia. Heck, being able to read your mind through the phone would be pretty neat.

Warren had grown a lot since the days when joking about having more superpowers just freaked him out more.
