004: [Video] Brainstorm

[Keisuke is standing in the Grove, late at night (again), pacing.]

Why has Fate decided to curse me as of late?

[He pauses, continuing when he realizes that the alliteration was not the result of a curse.]

What is the purpose of the Mall?  Or, rather, why does kidnap people, angels, and demons, sometimes at the point at which they would die?

[He stops and  shakes his head.  This makes no sense.]

Ha... If I ask too many questions at once, I'll be overwhelmed.  Let's take them one by one.

[He continues to pace.]

First, what do I know?  The Mall is the middle ground between universes.  Because of this, beings from various realities come together at a central point.  Yet, I never really took the time to examine the nature of these universes...  What do they have in common?  In mine, the world was initially on the verge of demon infestation, but was eventually "sterilized," persay due to human conflict.  Most, if not all of the universes other versions of me are involved in involve demons.  Well, at least the ones who appear in the Mall.

Then, there's Beth.  Tokyo was destroyed, and demons roam the earth, correct?  Once again, Tokyo and demons are involved.  The same can even be said for the Demi-Fiends, Demon Busters, and those demon summoners who go by Kuzuhona, or something.

From there, one could logically assume the Mall is connected to those two traits alone.

...but.  Then there's those Persona users.  They neither have demons, nor are they involved with the city of Tokyo in any way, shape, or form.

...maybe I should get to know them better.  I need information.

[He glances about the grove.]

Second, or, should I say, third.  Why am I set on this terrible chain of events?  First, the Lockdown; then, the end of the world; then, my COMP ceases functionality.

[He leaves out the nuclear radiation, partly because a periodic casting of Amrita (or similar spells) will cure him, and being stricken with such a condition was his own fault for re-entering his door unprepared.]

...it's as if some force is set on resetting the world to before creation.  Yet... what would do that...?

[It's very well possible that some sort of demon that went unsummoned during the Lockdown is responsible for this, he realizes.  Yet, the "creator" demons didn't seem completely evil.]

...if I can create a Reason in my world, perhaps the answers will become more apperant.

[Yawning, he walks out of the camera's range...]
