Pink + fuzzy

It's a shawl that I've been making for quite some time. Just a garter stitch triangle with YO increases and an eyelet border.

Has been compared to a jellyfish by some and a collapsed lung by others. I however still see it as rose petals in a bath.

Kinda like a rorschach blot test I suppose. I like that, it's pretty cool. I'm glad I'm the one who saw rose petals.

The yarn is Wendy 'Yes'. I like it because a) prog rock reference, b) it is screaming positives and c) it is gratifyingly compliant. A yarn by any other name, huh.

On to the pictures.

Here it is being pinned up to block. I tend to pin stuff to the notice board and this was bigger than most stuff but I couldn't be bothered to take the poster down first. I was a bit worried when it came out the bath as it looked all matted but it looks better now it's drying.

By the way, I don't really have a Pink Floyd shrine. It just looks like I do.

Close up. It's mohair with big squiggly tufts. The colours here are pretty accurate.

I'm thinking I can just carry it about because I tend to get cold often and quickly, so it'd be good to have a shawl just to keep a little warm. Also it's kinda weird which I like.
