[LOCKED FROM ELENDIRA]
If any of you see or talk to a ma- wo- oh fuck it someone named Elendira snooping around, I'd appreciate it if you let me know or, at the very least, were careful about it.
Also, if anyone knows anything about how to go about having your chip removed, I'd appreciate the input.
Thanks.

'I'll manage,' when something is tough as hell.
I'll wait. Kinda tired to do much else.

No use getting upset over what you can't change, right?
All right.

Right. Better to stay calm and do something about it, if you can.
See you.

Yeah.
OK.
[About twenty minutes later, Livio looked up, the Northern Lights bar straight ahead. It'd taken him a little longer than he would have liked, but with Elendira lurking about, as well as monsters, he'd been extra careful while wandering the darkened, decrepit streets of Discedo. Still, he was here now, and that was the important thing. He'd been meaning to ask Shinji something for a while now, but with everything that had been going on, he just hadn't felt he should impose.
Funny how the arrival of one person could change so much.
Livio shook his head once, suppressing a sigh and steeling himself for what was to come as he made his way up to the roof. He was not looking forward to this...]

Sleep; blissful and random in snatches. He hadn't found the time for anything else lately. An hour here, or there. When one got that tired--any position of repose felt wonderful beyond words. A trick to induce rest.
When Livio would climb up, he'd see Shinji sleeping there, head arms flopped in odd positions against his crouched form.]

Er, hey. Coulda woke me up, if you wanted. Not a big deal.
[He leaned back against the rough surface of the roof. He was comfortable in the weirdest, out of the way places and rough surfaces. Grumpily complacent as a cat in out of the way corners.
Despite his groggy state, he remembered Livio's reason for coming.]
So, what's this favor?

Shinji stirred then, and Livio pushed such thoughts aside, sitting up a little straighter as he did so. He smiled faintly, in greeting.]
Yeah. It looked like you needed it, though.
[Livio shifted slightly, pulling the cloak a bit closer about his broad frame. He still felt a certain wonderment about the cooler temperatures here, but he wasn't used to it yet either. He shivered then, but it wasn't the cold that made a chill creep up his spine.
Finally, after a moment or two of silence, Livio peered at Shinji from under the brim of his own hat, his eyes shadowed by that and something more.]
How much has Wolfwood told you about what happened between us?

[His breath came in a rasp of frost in the chilling evening. Moonlight washed between the clouds and cast the deep shadows over the broken city. Dulled the edges of the knife. It didn't look so honest at night, Shinji thought. The double moons aside.
At least this place had no dark hour. That supernatural pause between day and night was an unnerving vigil to sit. And he'd never slept through it. Just sat, in silence as the screams trickled by, lost in poisonous thoughts. Fought if he had to..
He shook his head to clear that nasty reverie. Oh yes, he preferred Discedo's night.
--and Livio's question broke into this. He scoffed under his breath: a heated sound. Formless anger at the thought of Wolfwood's death. Not at Livio, but-- He frowned at the slip and made a mask of his tired expression.]
Enough. Least I think so.. I know about that last fight of his.
