How is there still money in my checking account?
You know I think that's the first survey I've ever taken in this crazy virtual world of LiveJournal. Anyway...
So today, among other things I need not mention, I picked up Kill Bill Vol. 2 at Suncoast and got a free poster that looks an awful lot like this one. In fact, I suspect that they are the same poster, only one costs money, and one is free with a DVD purchase.
I also took my brother to Best Buy and GameStop to buy a game that's not released yet. I don't know if anyone out there has ever tried it, but it turns out to be very difficult if not impossible to buy a game that won't be released for another month. Even by arguing with the sales clerk, the rack of games, and me, Chris couldn't make the unreleased game appear. I, on the other hand, left Best Buy a few bucks poorer after buying Radiohead - Pablo Honey, Pink Floyd - Dark Side of the Moon, and Red Hot Chili Peppers - Blood Sugar Sex Magik. I also got a nice little promotional box that can hold Kill Bill Vol. 1 & 2. One of those puppies will run you all of $0.01, and I know what you're thinking, "Kevin, that's too rich for my blood - some of us are not made of money," but I must warn you, they only had about 6,286,356 of these little boxes on display, so it's now or never. Speaking of being made of money, I probably owe people some kinda DQ smoothie or whatever it was y'all was talkin 'bout at Carrolltowne.
