College Park kicks so much more ass than I could possibly relate to you in this little window. I just got back from my two-day overnight orientation. Our group leader was a junior and mighty attractive if I do say so myself. We stayed overnight in the nice dorms, but we won't be getting anything near that nice this fall. By overnight I mean the hours between 3:30am and 7:30am. The day was technically over at 10:30, but Tom and I went out to a frat party and to get some cheesesteak subs. That's right - on orientation night.
I like wearing t-shirts with different bands' names on them to these kinds of events. They are great conversation starters... and by that I mean random people walk up to me and start talking about the band like we've known each other for years.
I'm a little worried and a little excited about this random roommate thing. I guarantee you if I get some super weirdo roommate I'm gonna lay down the law, if you know what I mean. If you catch my drift. Nudge-nudge, Wink-wink.
I've started using graduation money to buy stuff for the dorm - I've got so far a digital optical sound system, a nice little 14" TV, and some power strips and cables that they recommend you buy. I've got some epeakers on order, and I'm still in the market for a mini-fridge...
In other news, I've lost both of my new Radiohead CDs somehow. I haven't even taken the plastic off of OK Computer! I've definitely looked everywhere though. AHHH!
