How does everyone feel about being home? It's cool for now I guess, but I know I'll be happy to be back at College Park. Simple as that.
Hey everybody in case you didn't know I live in Mount Airy. You know what's a fun thing to do when you're in Mount Airy? Hop in your car and drive a half hour in just about any direction. I definitely seek out other places to be, as in Eldersburg, Frederick (shudder), Baltimore, Columbia, the occasional Elkridge, etc. Basically having a job or a girlfriend in any one of these places has let me use them as a retreat from the social scene of Mount Airy, which hapens to be quite lacking. The proximity of I-70 makes it easy to make a quick getaway, and I suppose that's up one notch in my book. It's not that I have any problem with my family, but most of the people around here are... boring. I've transplanted my outside life to one of the aforementioned towns at one time or another. This all came to mind thinking about what I'll be doing this weekend. Hmm lets see Thursday/night, friday/night, saturday night... I'm seeing a trend of not being within 20 minutes of home. My driver's license was a breakthrough for me.
It really is good to be home though. Just a good feeling I guess. boring entry over.
