I still say we should have taken them to the aquarium

I went on a field trip tody. That's right, a field trip. My Technology in Asia class went to the IMF (International Monetary Fund) to learn about both what the organization does for the world and also to learn more about the progression of developing asian countries. The kicker, though, is that there was a class with us from Tokyo, Japan, too. After the speeches we went back to College Park and enjoyed Pizza and trying to understand one another. I really give the Japanese students credit for how well they know English. Being the sly dog that I am, I sat Max and myself down at a discussion table of all girls:

(That's Max next to me and some guy in the back there) It was pretty funny talking about videogames, how we deal with school and socializing, and of course the subject of foreign boyfriends and girlfriends. "I think I like to marry a foreigner" I think that makes quote of the day with "because Japanese boys are not gentelmen and japanese boys are not as cool" coming in a close second.

Finally, an open letter to General Tso, which we had on our door's whiteboard for the past week or so:

Dear General Tso,
What the hell was up with your chicken on monday night in the dining hall?
Sincerely,
Residents of the University of MD, College Park

Leave the Asian cuisine to Panda Express. A girl down the hall took a picture I'll try to put that up maybe. Itte kimasu!
