10th Confession [Voice/Action][Afternoon of Dec. 4th]

[Heeey, Luceti. So Vash decided to try being like his brother today by deciding he wanted to kill the humans- just a few hours ago, in fact, in which Wolfwood nearly choked to death on his coffee and went out to find the idiot. What ended up happening was a wonderful little conversation fight that ended with gunfire, a tree toppling over, and a ( Read more... )

You have need of a healer?

That's right, miss. Don't suppose you have any experience with bullet wounds?

[There's a sliver of exasperated humor in that voice, despite himself.

...It's been a loooong day.]

I know enough to know that the bullets here are different from the ones in my world and need to be removed before using magic.

[A thoughtful 'hn', as he nods to himself.]

I can handle the bullet-I don't think it's too deep.

I don't suppose I could ask if you're a house-healer? Or do you have a place of business?

[Because he's not entirely sure he can make a full walk elsewhere.]

I could be where you are quickly enough if you tell me where that is. [May as well try to not give Wolfwood a heart attack, that and it's been some time since she's seen Vash, so may as well get the location.]

Community Building 4, room 12. Not too far away, I hope...

I'll be there shortly.

[And a few moments later, Wolfwood will hear a knock on the door. Must not have been too far off, right? But strangely, he wouldn't have heard any other doors opening.]

[A muffled "Doors open". He's currently in the bathroom, leaned over the full sink clouded up with red water. The little bullet that was in his shoulder is near the capped drain, alongside a knife and a few hanging dressings.

Don't worry, Vash is in his bed tied up. You might notice him on the way in.]

You're the healer?

[He manages a friendly look, though he's seen better days.]

I didn't get your name, sorry.

[And she'll come in. She only did knock out of politeness and more because she couldn't quite teleport into an unfamiliar residence as easily as she could the hallway.

But she's going to try and smile and be friendly and all, as much as she can be since she does tend towards being cold.]

Yes, I'm the healer. My name is Iris. Are you the one needing healing then?

[No worries, Iris-as long as you're there to help him out, that's all the friendliness this guy needs. After all, he's been around some real assholes; your coldness probably isn't too bad.

He relaxes back against the wall, nodding and shrugging away the collar at his collarbone. The wound itself is just under the bone, small and slowing in blood flow.]

That's right. Got into a bit of a scuffle, anyway.

['Scuffle' is entirely appropriate and not understated! Right? 8|]

[If anything, it might be a bit refreshing because she's also horribly blunt, but overall has a good heart.

And that wound doesn't bother her, but then she's seen much worse. Had much worse too.]

Well, at least it can be dealt with.

[She places her hands around a necklace that she is wearing. It's not really the source of her powers, but she is healing a human and it is always good to keep up the act that her powers were granted and not her own. A light will shine and Wolfwood's wound should feel much better, if not be fully healed.]

[ooc: Up to you on how much he's healed. Iris is a damn good healer and can indeed bring back the dead.]

[He winces a little, but is pleasantly surprised that the injury is closing up-not much left but a little pale mark. And rotating his arm in a circle he finds it sore as hell, but entirely intact. Muscle threaded back together, shoulder blade in one piece, nothing out of order.

The wonders of magic. That would be so helpful, in his world.]

...

[whistles]

Amazing. You must really work wonders for people, a lot of the time.

[Not like she's really going to admit to the wonders she's done, since it involves things like resurrecting a man she killed.]

It is merely that I have the power to do so.

But you don't have to use it to help people-that's what makes it so special, right?

[He walks out the bathroom door, if she's either wanting to ask about the other snoozing patient or was ready to leave. Either way, he had to clean up some of the few drops of blood that had managed to meet the floor.]

What good is having a power if you never make use of it?

[And she did notice Vash, but from what she can tell he seems to be all right. Still, probably a good idea to ask about him.]

Will Vash be all right or does he also need healing?
