Big surprise. Listen carefully, because I'm only going to explain this to you once. There are beings in this world that come from the Crimson Realm: they're called Crimson Denizens. Denizens devour the power of existence, that lets people exist, but doing so throws off the balance of the world. Flame Haze exist to protect that balance.

Oh. Sounds kinda like Summon Spirts and pacts.

That's good. Ah, what am I doing? Trying to reunite two worlds separated by this kid who's kinda... crazy.

I don't know what a Summon Spirit is, but Flame Hazes don't summon their Lords. Not unless they want to die.

Yeah. A long time ago. Thought it would be better, but in the long run, not so much.

Yeah. It gives us the ability to manipulate the Power of Existence to cast Unrestricted Spells, reinforce our body structures, and stuff like that. How does that other thing work?

He must be really powerful to have done something like that. I don't think even Alastor can do something like that, and he's one of the true gods.

Ahh, okay. And Summoning. Um, basically, summon spirits are manifestations of mana--the energy of our world. When I make a pact with them, I can call them out to do as I please.

Yeah he's... pretty strong. We're trying to defeat him. True gods?
