I made the pact with Volt.  We defeated him.  We're a little... static-y, but we won.

But Corrine--Volt was about to kill me and Corrine... Jumped in between us.  He--He saved me.

His bell is the only... thank you, Corrine.  Thank you so much.

But... I can summon Volt now.  I did it.  And Genis is making a feast later...

We didn't exactly kill him so much as defeat him. But yeah--once we did that, I got the ability to summon him. I can call on him to do pretty much whatever I want now.

That sounds crazy. Is he like your slave now or something cause you beat him?

Um. Not exactly. He's a Summon Spirit, I'm a Summoner. Summoners make pacts with Summon Spirits so they can use their strength, particularly in battle. But the Summoner needs to prove their own strength first, or the Summon doesn't have to do anything nor can the pact be made.
