Actually, it's not quite 3am yet, but K has it blasting from his computer and I am having some KLF nostalgia. This song is great.
Damn, I bet I'm going to sit here with writer's block until it is 3am. There are two things which hold me back from going full-on blogtasticity. One: No journalistic intent (aka, what I write is not based entirely on fact) and Two: Lack of tech-savvy to make you think I'm all slick. No one on the Internet is cool.
Today, I went to Phog and saw more bushy beards than I care to. I told K that it's cool when you look like a communist but otherwise, it's just Iron-and-Wine hillbilly to me. K has a smaller beard, which I do like. If I had to talk to some guy with a giant beard, I would make him feel like I'm talking to his beard just like how women sometimes feel that people are talking to their breasts. I know there are people out there with serious beard-fetishes and would just stare at that mound of hair smelling like oil and a poutine dinner.
K and I are getting married. Planning for it sucks, but I hope the wedding itself won't be boring. I have an idea to play NIN Head Like a Hole at my wedding despite some old Asian parents being there because I always want to dance to that song and I wish I was bar-hopping in 1988-1989 when I would have heard it for the first few times and would have danced the shit out. All the other plans can go to hell, but just give me some good food and good music to dance to, and give me a day when I can have a blast with my K and my friends.
I really want to walk over to Tim Horton's now. They upgraded the interior of our location and it's actually a place I could chill out at for a few hours with my book. I would not mind that. I wish they had the balls to have done this upgrade back when I used to go to Timmies on Saturday late nights to study while K was at his midnight shift at work. The old seats were so uncomfortable and they had no outlets to plug in your computer. The library in our neighbourhood, on the other hand, has only one outlet. Lame! How can anyone do their work? Yet now, I try to avoid technology if I can. I get home and there is sometimes no way I would even want to turn my computer on.
How, then, will I get back to writing on here the way that I used to? I looked back on some old entries and I wonder how I ever found the time!
Anyway, here goes my first entry of many, hopefully!
Whoa, I just added a picture to my livejournal post without having to type the
