Here's how April second went:
7:40 AM - I woke up, got dressed, did my makeup, and had a microwaved strawberry Pop Tart.
8:30 AM - I went to bio discussion. We got our tests back from last week. My GSI told us that not very many people did well on the short answer part, so when she handed me my test I put it in my folder without looking at it. I didn't want a downer so early in the day, especially after I had studied my ass off for the test.
10:00 AM - I walked back to Markley, checked my mail, and climbed up to bed for a nap.
11:40 AM - My alarm woke me up; I had lecture at noon. I pressed snooze.
11:45 AM - My alarm went off again. I turned it off.
1:45 PM - I officially woke up. The construction outside my window sounded like a tyrannosaurus rex. It was kind of startling. Rimma agreed.
2:00 PM - I ate lunch. It was bad because it always is after a certain time, but I had ice cream, so that made me relatively happy.
2:20 PM - I began working on my seven-to-eight page paper that's due in ten hours.
4:30 PM - I walked to the UROP office to turn in an assignment and then to the Union to await my 5:30 meeting.
5:05 PM - I got Subway.
5:20 PM - I slapped Chris. He told me it hurt and then said something about scaring off Dan Kelly. I don't know. I was wearing headphones.
5:22 PM - Someone yelled my name as I was headed to the bathroom. It was Narendra. We chatted.
5:30 PM - I arrived at the ISR for my meeting. I was feeling pretty antsy at this point; I knew I had to work on my paper, and I was worried about my grades in general. I talked to a few people and set up times for recruiting over the next week. I hate recruiting. It makes me feel like I have leprosy, but really I'm just handing out fliers. We also played around with STATA, which is annoying.
6:30 PM - I talked to my mom on the phone as I headed back to Markley. We got into an argument because she's gotten increasingly protective as I've gotten increasingly older. She doesn't make sense. But we ended the conversation with "I love you," of course.
7:00 PM - I ate fruit and worked on my paper. And Facebook messaged Nate intermittently because he's stupid. I also realized that my paper was about absolutely nothing and that I was kind of screwed.
10:00 PM - I showered and did my hair.
11:00 PM - Back to working on my paper. Rimma and I discussed a funny situation and laughed for a while. We were both stressed, so we needed that release. We played MASH online. (playmash.com) I ate Cheetos Puffs.
12:40 AM - Officially not April second anymore, but I finally finished my paper, and after reading through the entire thing, I realized that it wasn't half-bad.
12:45 AM - I checked my bio grade. It reminded me that I'm not a complete idiot and that there is hope for me yet.
1:00 AM - I'm happy, and I need to go to sleep.
