1. What did you do in 2007 that you'd never done before?
Fall in love. Drive on the interstate.:) Figure school stuff out for myself aka FAFSA and go to school and work full time. Join an online dating site where I met Chris.
2. Did you keep your new years' resolutions, and will you make more for next year?
Eh I wanted to lose weight. That didnt happen. I wanted to go back to school, and that did happen!
3. Did someone close to you give birth?
Nope. Thank goodness, not quite. No little babas crawling around. Although I think Nina may pop one out soon. Joking!
4. Did anyone close to you die? Not close, but Nick Lewis.What a sad day that was.
5. What countries did you visit? None.
6. What would you like to have in 2008 that you lacked in 2007? A better job. New car. More time with my baba. Sundays off. A house, maybe...
7. What dates from 2007 will remain etched upon your memory, and why? The day my mom arrived on my doorstep to surprise me from South Africa for my birthday. The day I first met Chris in person.
8. What was your biggest achievement(s) of the year? Going back to school. Employee of the month. Speaking up more for myself, a little more confidence. Honestly talking. Opening up to Chris and sticking through difficult situations.
9. What was your biggest failure? I dont really think I have any.
10. Did you suffer illness or injury? Nope. No hospital visits this year. Thank goodness.
11. What was the best thing you bought? The ring I bought for Chris.
12. Whose behavior merited celebration? Chris and his tolerance for my mood swings. My mom and brother for being sneaky buggers and organising her surprise visit to America!!!
13. Whose behavior made you appalled and depressed? Bush and the 'war' in Iraq. Zimbabwe. Good people dying. Bhutto.
14. Where did most of your money go? Food. Yes Food.
15. What did you get really, really, really excited about? Getting all A's in my classes. My Mom being in America. Chris being in my life.

31. What did you do on your birthday, and how old were you? 21 years old! My mom surprised me from South Africa. What a wonderful present. She had a suitcase full of pressies from ym family. Going to a Goo Goo Dolls concert.

39. Tell us a valuable life lesson you learned in 2007: Communication is key. Walking away from things is not a solution. Working and going to school is hard, but it is most stimulating.You dont always get what you want.
