It's my eighteenth birthday, and in honour of entering the next year of my life, I would like bake a cake, and anyone who wants some is more than welcome to have a piece! I might even bake two.
Most importantly however, I want to thank everyone who has been so wonderful this year. Really, I would just like to thank everyone for being who they are. I am eternally grateful for each and every one of you, and what you've allowed me to learn this past year of my life. I'm so thankful, for having known Su-Li, and the extra bit of sunshine I know she gives us from where ever she is. I'm thankful for Michael always listening to me. I'm thankful for Luna for always making me smile, and for always having a hug ready! I'm thankful for Aura and her playing the piano because it's so beautiful. I'm thankful for Terry for making me feel like I make a difference, even when I don't. I'm thankful for the Eyrie for keeping us warm, and giving us books. I'm thankful for Zacharias for never letting on if I'm driving him nuts. I'm thankful for Hermione Granger for always being so smart. I'm thankful for Harry Potter because well, we all should be. Anytime he needs a hug, I'm just right here! I'm thankful for Susan for being so incredibly wonderful and taking such good care of Zacharias. I'm thankful for hugs, and kisses, and holding hands. I'm thankful for Anthony for being patient with us. I'm thankful for parents for taking care of us. I'm thankful for our teachers for teaching us. I'm thankful for the sunshine, and the night time, and everything that God has provided with me. I'm thankful for my ability to see beauty in everything. I'm thankful for Dean Thomas, because he's always been so helpful.
And I'm sure I've just rambled on and on, and even now I know I've forgotten things, and people, and places. But, on my birthday, I wanted to say thankyou to EVERYONE, even if we haven't ever spoken, just your presence has touched my life in some way. Thank you to everyone and everything for making this past year so full of everything.
