Now the days are longer, hotter. I spend most of my time reading, and in contemplation. I prefer the reading. It's better to have someone else's thoughts to fill my mind and distract me from my own ( Read more... )

You're right, I can't read all the time. After a while I want to do something physical. Maybe I should take up a craft or something - I enjoy it, but I can only work out so much.

Your offer is really kind. I hope you're able to help someone deserving. You deserve that.

You know where I am, if you want to talk to someone besides yourself.

Crafts are a good idea. What do you think you might want to make? Maybe we can work on something together.

I know you don't want me to work on an appeal for you, and that's fine. I respect that. But that won't stop me from doing something to help.

I know where you are, and you know where I am. I'll see you soon.

I was going to make a joke about knitting, but then again, it looks pretty hard. Maybe a little too hard. Any ideas?

Thanks for respecting my choices, Diego. Even more thanks for your help. No matter how mysterious it seems. I would never refuse a friend.

See you then.

My mother used to knit. I remember thinking it did look difficult. Maybe crocheting is more our speed, right? Ha, but I think they've got a lot of different crafts. We can try them all until we find one we like.

You're welcome. Yes, me and my mysterious help--looks like you're stuck with us.

Crocheting sounds - interesting. But I don't know about the "speed" part.
Ha ha, yeah, we'll find something. How do you feel about leatherwork?

Mysterious help is interesting, help from a friend is even better. Thanks, Old Man.
