hockey rant and im not even a hockey fan!
so i need to vent about sports. i am not 100% educated on the subject but i feel like i have enough knowledge to make a valid point. sooooo let the venting begin......
so when it comes to baseball u really can't say the league is rigged. there are only so many wrong calls an ump makes in one game before it gets fishy. i mean baseball games take up the most amount of time and its all a matter of how well the teams plays whether they win or not, not the umps calls. now football EVERYONE is on the patriots ass for cheating. whatever they cheated, they deserve their punishment thus far. take away their rings? idk that i agree with that but whatever... time will tell with that. either way unless ur a pats fan you hate them because of said cheating or the fact they went 18-0 before loosing the superbowl (which i called mid season)! now onto hockey. ive NEVER EVER been a big hockey fan and those that know me know i pick random teams depending on who is in the playoffs each year, usually siding with the west. for once i am agreeing with my dad and bro's taste and going with the rangers and all its proven to me is that hockey is more rigged then i think any sport out there. (let the arguements begin now!) 1st i can almost 700% guarantee the rangers were NOT even supposed to get this far. the devils are always the star team between the two and i know more people wanted to see the devils win than the rangers. either way aside from one game the rangers showed they were the better team as they have all season against them. (sorry michelle!) retarded calls were made against the rangers and calls that SHOULD have been made against the devils never happened. (i only really know this from listening to my dad yell at the tv but i have my own proof to support my ideas!) if u know the game of hockey no matter the team i think you can admit the refs weren't playing fair! whatever in the end much to everyones disbelief the rangers beat the devils in a 5 game series and the refs lost whatever they had riding on these games! now we go to the penguins series. have i really watched any of it? no im not going to lie but even a devils fan admited to me that the rangers are getting bad calls made on them. they had a goal robbed from them and lost the game 2-0. i hear someone on the phone at abees as we watched this shitty call get made and he is saying how the league WANTS the penguins to win because of crosby. well now the rangers sit 3-0 in the series and the odds of them coming back... i know the rangers its NOT going to happen. im not saying the rangers are better than the penguins because like i said what do i know about hockey nor do i sit and watch EVERY game but doesnt the shit being called AGAINST the rangers seem a little fishy. now if the devils were in the same place would the same thing be happening? hmm... now whether the devils would have won the series is never to be known i know they PROBABLY wouldnt get shut out like the rangers are. they would have went back and forth until the best team won and im sorry to say but i think the penguins would have defeated the devils in the end. i know the penguins did good in their last series going like at least 3-0 before giving up a win (if they did... i didn't pay attention to that series) but either way they defeated the team before the rangers. now we will not know until the stanley cup is given to the winning team but i can guarantee you if the penguins win i am sticking by my idea that hockey is rigged. if they at least MAKE it to the stanely cup and shitty calls continue to get made against the teams they play then i am going to be angry. its not fair for football teams to get the shit beat out of them because they cheated and then the refs in hockey get away with calls in favor of the teams they want or the league wants to win.
