Confusion

Feb 14, 2002 21:42

Until this year, I haven't heard the term "V-Day" in reference to Valentine's Day. I thought the term V-Day referred to something else. Somehow, I never made the connection between these two separate events. I was highly confused when a professor used the term on Tuesday evening, and I was thinking of Eve Ensler's play.

I found myself having to explain to a few people that I don't like to eat refined sugar. I am not perfect about it, but I got quizzical looks when I refused various offers of candy today. I find that I am vulnerable to certain infections if I don't control my intake.

I think I am the only one who has an AIM profile. I realized that hardly anybody reads it, so I figured I should post some of it here. I keep a seafood guide in my wallet, and you can get one too. Some seafood are overfished (risking extinction) or caught by methods that harm other wildlife in the ocean.

Okay, I'm done with my issues.

I scored 85% on the gifted child test. The Powerbook 170 is the Mac for me.
