She didn't notice she was asleep until she realized something had changed.
Jenova rarely did anything like "sleep." She sometimes became partially restive, allowing her attention to drift in the calming mechanical noises of the world she'd become a part of, the world where she was trapped and that man--
But, suddenly, she realized there were no sounds.
Shaking what had become accustomed to being her head, the virus shifted herself slightly, long spidery fingers reaching out to touch the cool glass surrounding her. And, suddenly, she realized there was no glass either. Her head snapped up, long silvery hair cascading across her shoulders as a light wind kissed her gently and fluttered at her useless wings. It was quiet because she was outside.
In a new world.
With a little noise which could only be described as a gasp, Jenova began pushing herself up onto what passed as knees. Her entire form was humming, practically shivering, attempting to get at the air around her as quickly as possible.
